Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM)

The Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) Forest Park in Selangor was inscribed in 2025 as the sixth UNESCO world heritage site in Malaysia. A man-made rainforest that is the world’s oldest and largest recreated tropical rainforest from a severely devastated mining land, which is an exceptional testimony of the combined works of Man and Nature. Pioneering the use of innovative scientific and traditional management systems and its function as a living scientific laboratory for research and sustainable land rehabilitation.
